Beach Day School Tuition 2023

* ALL students will be assessed a non-refundable registration fee of $200 at the time of registration. The registration fee will cover the cost of field trips.

REGISTRATION AND TUITION POLICIES

Beach Day School follows VBCPS for our Christmas and Spring Break holidays; however, our school start and end dates, along with other holidays/teacher workdays may differ. Please see the Beach Day 2022-2023 calendar for all other holidays and scheduled events. We use VBCPS inclement weather decisions as a guide for our inclement weather policy, if available. School hours vary by grade, and are listed below:e.

To register for Beach Day School Fall 2021, and to secure a spot for your child, parents must submit the following:

  • A completed Beach Day School application form
  • A $200 non-refundable Registration Fee (Sibling registration fee is an additional $100.)

Before Your Child Will Be Assigned a Class, and/or Before the First Day of School, parents must submit:

  • A completed Emergency Contacts / Pickup Authorization Form
  • A signed Medical Authorization Form (you may download a current form at beachdayschool.com. Click on “Registration,” and then click “Forms”)
  • Original birth certificate or passport presented and verified by school staff.
  • Physical and Immunization Records include a visit to the pediatrician within the last 12 months.
  • Medication/epi-pen forms where applicable to allergies or other listed on the emergency form

Fall 2023 Discounts:  (**ONLY 1 DISCOUNT MAY BE APPLIED PER FAMILY)

  • 10% discount for tuition paid in advance for the year (reflects the 10% discount above)
  • 5% discount off for youngest sibling tuition
  • 5% discount for all active military families
  • 5% discount for FPC member families

First Step...

Please call the Beach Day office to place your child on a waiting list by the 1st of October for the following year. Registration will begin in October for 2-year-olds and January for 3's, 4's, and K. Preference is given to current Beach Day families and members of the First Presbyterian Church. Prospective students will be called in the order they have been placed on the waiting list.

Next Steps...

Once your registration form and non-refundable registration fee have been submitted to the Beach Day office, you will receive an email confirming receipt of the registration form and fee.  An email consisting of a full registration packet will be emailed during the Spring in preparation for the upcoming school year.

The registration packet consists of the following forms that must be provided in order for your child to attend Beach Day School, and to satisfy the Department of Social Services Licensing regulations. 

**The forms need to be completed and submitted to the Beach Day School office no later than the first week of school.**

    • Proof of Identity - Proof of a child’s identity and age may include a certified birth certificate, notification of birth (hospital, physician, or midwife record), birth registration card, or passport. Photocopies cannot be accepted. The information will be recorded, and the form of identification will be returned.
    • Commonwealth of VA School Entrance Health Form - Each year, every child must show proof of a current physical examination and up-to-date immunization records. This documentation must be signed or stamped and provided on Form MCH213G or on a physician’s form for immunizations that contain a statement that the child is adequately immunized. (Any exception must include notarized documentation stating medical or religious reasons that preclude immunizations)
