Since 1967, Beach Day School of Virginia Beach, VA has been a place where young preschool age children come to learn and prepare for life in a warm, loving atmosphere. Our mission has been to offer a developmentally appropriate program that promotes the spiritual, social and cognitive growth of each and every child. But like all leading independent preschools, Beach Day depends on the support and active involvement of our families and our community. As an independent preschool, Beach Day does not receive any financial support from federal, or local governments. Tuition covers part of our operating budget, but gifts made to the school help to bridge any shortfall and keep our standards of excellence high. From our outstanding teachers, enrichment programs and superior assessments, Beach Day is committed to providing the best educational experiences possible for our students. We hope you’ll help!
The Starfish Fund was established in 2015 to support the enrichment programs, the extensive learning opportunities, the support of best educational practices and the quality of our teaching staff. The fund is exclusively used to provide up-to-date equipment and supplies in the classrooms, programs brought to the school, enrichment programs incorporated into our curriculum, staff training, and appropriate staff compensation.
Your contribution can be made in honor of a student, a family member, or a teacher. It is a tax-deductible 501C donation. With each contribution, a starfish will be hung on our Starfish bulletin board to recognize your generous gift and the person(s) whom you wish to honor or remember. Any donation made by a company or business will be publicly acknowledged on our website and listed as a Beach Day partner.
